Holmisdale House Holmisdale House
Before any re-building could start the house was taken back to bare walls and beyond. Wooden lintels were replaced by concrete . Only the 15"x 15" massive pairs of beams holding the bow windows were retained. Earth floors were filled with cement and stonework pointed . We managed to rescue much of the beams and floorboards for recycling later.
